About Resect

Resect Engineering Solutions have been supplying the UK Construction Industry with Site Engineering & Surveying Services since 2010. Based in Kent, Resect specialise in providing high quality ‘Site Setting Out’ services to the UK’s Piling Industry utilising the latest Leica technology.

Established in 2010, Resect is part of the Cadplan service group which has been supplying comprehensive surveying services to the architectural, construction, and development industries since 1995. Resect pride themselves on providing high quality engineering services direct to the Client, from Initial site preparation through to project completion. As an experienced team of Site Engineers, Resect has the skills required to complete your project quickly, cost-effectively and with expertise. Our Modern Leica instrumentation assists greatly with today’s Site Engineering and whether you need Full or Part time assistance for your project we can adapt our fully equipped Engineering teams accordingly, producing a service that is right for you.

Resect Engineering have a core management team consisting of two directors, Kevin Bloe and Gareth Edwards who between them have nearly 70 years’ experience in the geomatic and engineering industry. Kevin’s experience comes mainly from working in the engineering field, on such projects as HSBC & Barclays Buildings at Canary Wharf, The Millennium Dome, and the main London Olympic Stadium 2012 to name a few. Gareth’s background is mainly in the geomatics industry forming Cadplan Services Ltd over 25 years ago to provide land & measured building surveys to the construction industry. In this time Cadplan have produced many quality surveys and carried out work at prestigious sites such as The BBC Broadcasting House, Harrods, The Algerian, Irish, & American Embassy’s, and Selfridges Department Store.

Resect are not an agency, all its staff take a very personal interest in their assigned projects, as a company we feel it is important to try to keep continuity by using the same engineers from start to finish, where possible on any project.

At present Resect Engineering have 20 qualified Engineering & Surveying personnel and our quality management comes from our staff’s extensive experience, with the use of the latest Leica equipment and the implementation of systematic survey procedures and techniques. All our Engineering staff work to our company Method Statement and are in possession of the relevant CSCS qualifications.

Insurances

Resect Engineering holds the following insurance policies: –

• Professional Indemnity Insurance (£ 1,000,000.00 cover)
• Employees Liability in respect of claims arising from injury to employees
• Public Liability in respect of injury to third parties other than employees and damage to property

Note: Professional Indemnity Insurance can be increased to a maximum £ 5,000,000.00 if higher cover is required on a specific job.
